Try a little St Kilda twilight adventure
IT’S all happening at twilight in St Kilda, but it has nothing to do with vampires.
The St Kilda Twilight Market is back for summer, with new management bringing in more entertainment and 60 stallholders.
Stalls will sell imported new and old fashion, arts, crafts, furnishings and accessories.
Fire twirlers with musical accompaniments will roam the O’Donnell Gardens, next to Luna Park, while bargain hunters can scour the items for sale.
Market shoppers can take part in the unique silent disco or watch tribal drumming performances.
The market’s new manager, Brendan “Oakies” O’Keefe, said he was very excited about the market and its operation over the coming months.
“St Kilda is home to all that’s great about Melbourne, bringing together people and lifestyles from a wide and varied mix of influences,” he said.
“This market is a testament to that and has been serving this community for some time. It will now continue to do so in a great and unique way.”
The market is on 5pm-10pm on Thursdays, January 12, 19 and 26 and February 2, 9, 16 and 23.
